Cookie policy
How we use browser storage and how you control optional analytics.

Calm Kids Sleep uses browser storage to remember your choices and, if you agree, understand how people use the website. This policy covers calmkidssleep.com. Our Privacy policy explains how Andrea Cepeda handles personal information and how to contact her.
Your choices
You can accept or reject optional analytics in the consent banner. You can also open Privacy preferences in the footer at any time to change your choice. Declining analytics does not prevent you from reading the website, contacting Andrea or using the available booking and payment links.
We ask before loading Google Analytics. Consent to analytics is separate from subscribing to the newsletter.
What we store in your browser
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. Local storage also saves information on your device, but does not automatically send it with each website request.
Storage. cks-consent-v2, local storage Purpose. Remembers your privacy choices, language, consent identifier and choice/expiry times. The website does not send this consent record to our server. Duration. 180 days unless you clear it earlier.
Storage. calmkidssleep-theme, local storage Purpose. Remembers a light or dark appearance that you choose. Duration. No set expiry. Removed when you return to automatic appearance or clear the site's storage.
Storage. calmkids-language, local storage Purpose. Remembers the website language you select. Duration. No set expiry. Replaced when you choose another language or removed when you clear the site's storage.
Storage. cks_ga and property-specific cks_ga_* cookies, where analytics is enabled Purpose. Distinguish browser visits and measure page use after you opt in. The suffix identifies the Analytics property. Duration. Configured for 180 days; browser restrictions may shorten this. Activity may renew the cookie while consent remains valid.
Storage. payload-token, staff sign-in cookie Purpose. Authenticates authorised staff in the website administration area. Ordinary visitors do not need a staff account to read the site. Duration. The signed session expires after two hours.
The preference entries above use local storage rather than a consent cookie. Optional analytics is loaded only when it is available on the website and you have accepted it. When analytics is off, accepting the preference does not itself load Google Analytics.
Cloudflare provides website delivery and security. Where a form uses its Turnstile anti-abuse check, Cloudflare receives technical information needed to assess the request. A Turnstile verification token is separate from your analytics choice. If Cloudflare presents a security challenge, it may use a cf_clearance cookie to remember that the challenge was passed. Its lifetime follows the security challenge settings. Cloudflare explains its security cookies and their purposes in its cookie documentation.
Optional analytics
If enabled and you agree, Google Analytics receives page-view information to help us understand which content visitors use. We configure it without advertising personalization or Google Signals. Our implementation excludes form contents and private customer pages from analytics and removes arbitrary query parameters from page URLs sent to Google.
Withdrawing consent stops future analytics collection through this site and removes analytics cookies that the site can access. It does not automatically erase information Google has already processed. See the Privacy policy for retention and your data rights.
Booking and payment websites
Booking or paying may take you to Cal.com or Stripe. Their websites have their own storage, privacy notices and controls. Your choice on this site does not automatically set your preferences on those separate websites.
You can also remove or block cookies and local storage in your browser settings. Clearing them can reset your language, appearance and consent choices. Blocking storage needed for a booking or payment may affect that service.
