Sleep Education for Parents & Schools
Sleep talks & workshops to help parents understand sleep and feel supported, not judged.
Service Description
Sleep Talks & Workshops for Parents (Online & In Person) Sleep challenges are one of the most common, and most overwhelming, parts of early parenthood. Many families don’t need a full sleep plan right away; they need clear information, reassurance, and guidance that feels realistic and kind. My sleep talks and workshops are designed to support parents with practical, evidence-based guidance around baby and toddler sleep, while creating a space that feels calm, supportive, and free from judgment. As a certified pediatric sleep consultant and a mum of two, I combine professional training with real-life experience. These sessions help parents understand how sleep develops, what is normal at different ages, and how gentle sleep foundations can support better rest over time — without pressure or rigid methods. Each talk focuses on empowering parents with knowledge so they can make confident, informed choices for their family. Rather than offering one-size-fits-all solutions, I explain how sleep works and how small, age-appropriate adjustments can help with common challenges such as frequent night wakings, early mornings, short naps, or toddler bedtime struggles. Topics can be tailored to the audience and may include: - Baby sleep basics and gentle sleep training principles - Newborn sleep help and realistic expectations in the early months - Creating calm, consistent bedtime routines that work - Supporting independent sleep in a responsive, respectful way - Understanding sleep regressions and developmental changes - Toddler sleep challenges, boundaries, and bedtime resistance These sleep workshops are suitable for: - Schools, nurseries, and international schools - Parent groups and community organizations - Corporate wellbeing programs supporting working parents - Online communities and virtual parenting events Sessions can be delivered online or in person and typically include time for questions and discussion, allowing parents to feel heard and supported. The goal is always for families to leave feeling calmer, more confident, and reassured that needing help with sleep does not mean they are failing; it simply means they need support. Based in the Algarve, Portugal, I offer sleep talks locally and work online with families and organizations across Portugal, Europe, Canada, and the US. Sessions are available in English, Spanish, and German.
